De La Cruz Gallery
A venue of the hilltop campus in the first floor of the Walsh Buidling, the De La Cruz Gallery is a combination gallery space and event space, and is owned and scheduled by the Department of Art and Art History (AAH).
- Patrons must first reserve the venue with AAH, and receive a space confirmation from AAH, before CETS can schedule and confirm service for any program in that venue.
Within De La Cruz there are
- a limited quantity of wireless microphones connected to an installed sound system;
- two ceiling-mounted video projectors which display only on certain exterior walls of the Gallery space, and
- a separate wall-mounted screen for programs in the middle gallery space.
- CETS has provided two types of service in De La Cruz:
- A staff member to work the installed microphone and video systems, usually for gallery events with background music, or
- A full mobile set up with a sound system and speakers, a projector to show content on the wall-mounted screen, and sometimes a video camcorder for video-recording and/or Zoom video streaming.
Patrons must request support from CETS Event Services, a fee-for-service operation, if they require:
- more than two wireless microphones in De La Cruz, or
- a portable projector to display on the middle room screen, or
- a Zoom meeting and/or video-recording of a program, or
- continuous technician monitoring of program technology throughout the event.
CETS charges for its services are in addition to any space-usage charges imposed by AAH.
