Classroom Rental Charges
Fees for Classroom usaage may apply for programs with external audiences or for external groups using classrooms.
- What is an external audience? It is an audience that is 90+ % comprised of persons who are not GU students in degree- or certificate programs, not GU faculty, and not GU-staff. Any program open to the general public will be presumed to not be an “internal” use of the classroom, with Classroom Rental Fees potentially applying.
- Classroom Rental Rates apply per-day, and are based on:
- the size of the classroom used, and
- the duration (in hours) of the classroom use.
- Classroom Rental includes use of all technology built-in to the classroom. [Note: most Hilltop classrooms do not have voice amplification built-in.]
- If CETS must bring in additional equipment to a classroom for any non-semester-class program (whether or not Classroom Rental Fees are imposed) the patron may have to pay the service fees of CETS Event Services for that additional technology.
- CETS collects Classroom Rental Fees though the GMS Journal Process. Therefore, internal GU departments and groups may neet to provide GMS Work Tags with their classroom request, and external entities may need to provide a complete billing address with their classroom requests.
